As a complete site preparation contractor, we offer grading, excavating, and much more. The services we offer include, but aren’t limited to:
Timber, stump, and brush cutting, grinding, removal, and hauling.
Demolition of existing structures, buildings, paving/asphalt, underground utilities, and more.
Preparing the site and building retaining walls with proper drainage of various materials and strengths.
Complete land preparation, including moving cut/fill onsite, exporting excess, or importing structural fill material. This includes mass earth moving operations, trucking dirt, backfilling, and fine-grading. Our machines are equipped with GPS technology so that all projects are carried out with precision and efficiency.
Installation of various pipe materials in order to control site storm water, including reinforced concrete pipe (RCP), corrugated metal pipe (CMP), and high density polyethylene (HDPE). We also have experience installing a variety of underground retention/detention systems.
Strange Bros. has crews that specialize in fine-grading and setting stone base. We also have relationships with the Upstate’s best paving contractors and can perform the entire paving scope for a competitive price.
Installation of required underground utilities.
Strange Bros. site packages can include concrete curb and gutter, curbing, sidewalks, and drive aprons.
Strange Bros Recycling Division crushes and recycles concrete, asphalt, etc.
Strange Bros. uses Topcon GPS to survey sites. We also currently operate GPS on numerous pieces of equipment (dozers, track hoes, and motor graders). The GPS equipment allows the operator to see the cut/fill as they work, ultimately increasing efficiency.
Strange Bros. uses AGTEK 4D estimating software. This software allows the use of an engineer-provided CAD file to assist in take-offs, eliminating digitizing mistakes and increasing overall take-off accuracy.
